About This Website

Welcome

This website is about me—not my work, not my achievements, but simply me as a person, as I navigate life. That’s why I chose the “.me” domain. Here, I may share some of my background, personality, and interpretations of my thoughts. However, I’ll avoid sensitive personal details or certain private matters.

Why Did I Create This Website?

There are two main reasons:

1. Self-Reflection and Recording My Past

I strive to understand myself. But why? Shouldn’t I be the person who knows myself best? You might think so. However, I’ve noticed certain recurring patterns in my behavior—some positive, but others that I feel the need to break. To do that, I first need a more objective understanding of myself. I’ve found that recording is a powerful tool for this process. It also allows me to reflect on my past.

There are many ways to document life—journals, photos, social media—but I feel that a personal website suits me best. It’s public, yet only accessible to those who intentionally search for it. Plus, I have full control over every aspect of it.

2. Making It Easier for Others to Understand Me

To help those who want to know me better understand me—even without the need for a conversation. If you’ve found this site, chances are you were searching for something—probably my name. If that’s the case, welcome; this website is probably for you. And don’t worry—you remain completely anonymous here.

The Me I See, The Me Others See

Sometimes, the way we see ourselves differs from how others perceive us. One reason is that we know our own thoughts, emotions, and intentions, while others can only judge us based on our actions. Additionally, people interpret things differently—two individuals may perceive the same behavior in completely different ways.

I aim to balance my self-perception with how others see me while filtering out unrealistic external views, such as stereotypes or distorted assumptions.

A Slow but Steady Process

I work on this website in my spare time—more precisely, after I’ve taken care of everything else I need to do. Besides building the site, I also have to write and organize content, and found that each of them takes pretty much time, so progress will be slow. Even after I publish something, I might refine or update it over time.

A Closing Note

If you’ve found this website, whatever your reason may be, welcome. As I’ve said before, you are anonymous here — you don’t need to worry about leaving any trace. I also hope this website can offer you even the smallest bit of help, such as giving you more understanding of me (if that’s your purpose), or giving you a basic idea of the things I’ve tried (for example, if you’re interested in judo but curious about what to learn and how to learn it, some of my articles might offer you a little help, since judo is a niche sport and not very common; or if you want to know how I managed to get back in shape, and you’re also working on managing your own physique, maybe you could find some small reference here — and so on). Or perhaps the problems I’ve faced and the solutions I’ve tried could give you a bit of inspiration.

If you’ve found this website, you’re welcome here — but I hope that while you browse, you won’t go around telling others that I have such a website. The original purpose of this site is not to be a social media platform, but something I created for myself and for those who specifically searched for it. If visitors do not belong to those categories, then this website is likely not for them.
